Facing the dining area.  To the right is the angled fireplace and living room.  We want to take down the mirror above the fireplace.  We are keeping the bar on the right though probably not the mirror.  Two carpeted steps are visible at the lower right.

Kitchen doorway/wall we are considering knocking down.  Kitchen door is a sliding door. The office/4th bedroom is to the left.  Considering extending the kitchen counter on the right out into the dining area or adding an island/peninsula.  Would knocking down the wall compromise the doorway to the office (visible at the far left)?

Kitchen remodeled by the owner. We believe the counters are granite. This is the counter that we are thinking of expanding if we knock down the wall to the right. We don’t like the cabinetry’s color - will probably ask whoever does the painting to re-stain them a darker color.
