One Year After the Bar

Bar results came out this weekend. I spent some time looking up friends from the class after me. Most of them passed, but some did not. I feel pretty bad for them. The results are public, so there’s no hiding from it. It’s also weird when people go by nicknames, so if they passed their name is listed as something unfamiliar. That happened with a couple people and I thought they hadn’t passed, until I looked up only their last names. Whew.
Pretty soon I’ll find out what the pass rate was this year. My year, it was 49 percent.

I know, totally. >=) I look more people up on the State Bar website than I do on Google or those services I don’t use like Friendster and MySpace.
