Kenny G testifies in immigration court

Today was supposed to be a normal day in court, except… Kenny G testified as a witness. It was so bizarre. I didn’t recognize him until the attorney pointed him out. Even then, I was confused. I thought he was a singer. He looked exactly like this:

kenny G

The hair. The hair.

I can say with reasonable confidence that I am the first government attorney to cross-examine Kenny G. It was his first immigration proceeding and he was in perpetual disbelief at how slow and onerous the process can be. He tormented me with questions about the bureaucracy. I don’t know if I should be proud or embarrassed that I was the “face” of the US government today.

This job is full of surprises.

(He really does talk like that.)

  • Alas, Kenny G music is not my thing and never will be…

  • Pardon me for correcting you, but he’s a musician and not a singer. He plays saxophone only, dunno if he can sing? I doubt…

  • Haha… yes, I was mistaken in my first thought that he was a singer. The attorney described him as an “entertainer.”
