The first day of Dave’s conference, I stayed in the room most of the time, listening to my audio book and watching ships go by on the Mississippi River (that small ship on the left is pushing the long flat upriver) -
That night we ate at Morton’s Steakhouse, where I had the best filet mignon I’ve ever tasted -
Then it was to the French Quarter to hear our favorite brass band (I’ll put up a video I took tomorrow) -
